George and Keith have both appeared for Fiddling Cricket before - George with the Atkinson Kincheloe Band and Keith both solo, and with his band, several times over the years. In this show they team up to swap back and forth and play on each others songs.
George Kincheloe has a long musical history, starting in Boston, moving to LA in 1973, and then on to Northern California in 1977, where he fronted two popular bands (Boardinghouse Reach and Hooligan). In 1992 he met Lisa Atkinson, who appeared on his first solo album. George and Lisa were life and music partners until Lisa's untimely death last year.
Keith Greeninger has won many songwriting awards, the latest being the Telluride Festival Troubadour National Songwriters Contest in 2005. He has released several successful solo CD's and before that was part of the well-loved Santa Cruz group,City Folk. Keith is equally at home with traditional folk and upbeat contemporary material and his live performances range from quiet and sensitive to dynamic and raucous.

David Grier has lived in Nashville since the age of 3 and has been fully immersed in the bluegrass music world since about then. Today, he is regarded as one of the nation's premier acoustic guitarists, along with his early influences, Doc Watson, and Tony Rice.
Recognized by Acoustic Guitar Magazine in 2000 as one of the Artists of the Decade, and named Guitar Player of the Year three times by the International Bluegrass Music Association, Grier has played on four Grammy Award-winning albums, and released four solo albums on Rounder. Grier launched his own label, Dreadnought Recordings, in 1998 and his latest release, Evocative (Dreadnought 2009), featuring 10 original tunes and collaborators Victor Wooten, Paul Franklin, Stuart Duncan and more, has been hailed for its "deep musical introspection" as well as its "unmatchable mastery of the guitar" (Martin Mull).
David has played for Fiddling Cricket a number of times before, both solo and as part of the Matt Flinner Trio, but not for about 8 years. http://www.davidgrier.com/

Laurence Juber is most famous for his 3 years spent recording and touring with Paul McCartney, as the lead guitarist of Wings, when in his 20's (he had already made a successful career as a session guitarist, following a music degree at London University -classical guitar and lute). During that time he won his first Grammy as Best Rock Instrumentalist. When Wings disbanded in 1981 he moved to the US and resumed work as a session musician, recording music for many TV shows and films, including the theme tune for the Bond movie, "The Spy Who Loved Me". He also embarked on a career as a solo artist, composer and arranger, rapidly becoming recognized as a world class fingerstyle virtuoso.
By now Laurence has released 14 acclaimed solo albums, and is forever associated with the Beatles for his years with McCartney and his 2000 album, "LJ plays the Beatles". He also acquired a second Grammy (Best Pop Instrumental) for his arrangement of The Pink Panther Theme on the CD "Henry Mancini - Pink Guitar".
Laurence has played for Fiddling Cricket before, but not for many years. It's a pleasure and honor to have him visit us for this special Sunday evening show. http://www.laurencejuber.com/

The Bluegrass Intentions are back with their one-of-a-kind blend of traditional bluegrass, old-time, Cajun and blues. A veritable Bay Area Roots music super group, the Bluegrass Intentions are Suzy Thompson on violin and accordion; Eric Thompson on mandolin and guitar; Bill Evans on five-string banjo; Alan Senauke on guitar and mandolin and Markie Sanders on bass. They intend to play bluegrass, but along the way you might hear anything from Muddy Waters song to Cajun dance music or a Bill Evans original banjo tune.
All of the Bluegrass Intentions band members have been active on the international folk, old-time and bluegrass music scenes since the 1960's and 70's, performing with folks like David Grisman, Laurie Lewis, California Cajun Orchestra, High Country, Peter Rowan, and many more. They are rooted in the classic styles and are now seen as traditional music sources themselves, teaching many of the current generation of young bluegrass and old-time virtuosos.
Combining over 150 years of collective professional musical experience, this Bluegrass Intentions reunion show is something not to be missed! http://www.ericandsuzy.com/ericandsuzy.htm
